The bakuRUN aims to raise awareness and promote the importance of environmental conservation, specifically focusing on the preservation of ecological systems, which are vital for biodiversity, climate regulation, and the overall health of our planet. In line with the United Nations’ celebration on International Day of Forests, bakuRUN also aims to engage communities in a collective effort to contribute in global efforts in protecting, restoring, and promoting sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 13- Climate Action and Goal 15 - Life on Land.

With this project we will be able to check the well-being of the mother as well as the growing fetus by continuous monitoring of the three basic routine laboratory examinations such as CBC, Urinalysis and FBS. We will concentrate on the vulnerable part of the population which are the teenage mothers and focus on the most critical period of pregnancy which is the First Trimester. With the project we will help to achieve a Zero Complications caused by the three preventable complications of pregnancy such as Urinary Tract Infection, Iron Deficiency Anemia and Gestational Diabetes.

An initiative aimed at making a significant impact on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. Water is a fundamental resource, and ensuring its efficient use is crucial for sustainable development. This donation drive focuses on providing water hoses to the adopted communal garden in Brgy. Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal, fostering responsible water management and contributing to several SDGs.

Goals of the Donation Drive:

  1. Access to Clean Water (SDG 6): Provide communities with the necessary tools to access clean and safe water through the distribution of high-quality water hoses.

  2. Sustainable Agriculture (SDG 2): Empower local farmers with efficient irrigation systems, promoting sustainable agriculture practices and enhancing food security.

  3. Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3): Improve health outcomes by facilitating better hygiene and sanitation through the availability of water hoses.

  4. Gender Equality (SDG 5): Empower women and girls by reducing the time and effort spent on water collection, allowing them to pursue education and economic opportunities.

  5. Climate Action (SDG 13): Encourage responsible water usage to mitigate the impact of climate change and promote environmental sustainability.
